This sassy Asian venue has been pulling the crowds ever since its oriental doors opened. With an open deck and a cosy interior, offering ottomans surrounding a divine fireplace, Embassy XO is a must this wintery season. Whether you want to enjoy some fresh air overlooking the street below, or saddle up with your lover inside, the chef here James Wu knows how to stir up his customers. Just close your eyes and let him take your tastebuds on a magical carpet ride.
With Buderim’s iconic sweeping views stretching far across the coastline, Erawan offers a genuine variety of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian fare. With an over-achieving chef, boasting an outstanding career in the industry, it’s no wonder this place is a hive at peak hour times. Using only hand-selected fresh and authentic ingredients, patrons can choose from a vast ‘spice-o-metre’ which covers mild, medium, “Aussie hot” or “Thai hot” choices. Gluten-free and vegetarian meals are also available. Tick!
Yum Cha Cuisine
Desperate for yum cha, this place is open 10am-10pm seven days a week, meaning if you’re ever stuck in a freaked-out Chinese foodie frenzy, you’ll only ever have to wait a few hours before these guys open their doors. Phew! Just a few steps down from the movie theatre at Sunshine Plaza, this is the ideal pre-entertainment dining spot. And we all know what Yum Cha is like. Gobble fest! So come starving!

For classic suburban Chinese food at its best, enter Nambour’s Silver Phoenix. Curries, stir fries, seafood, omelettes, noodles, it’s all here in this one one-stop mouth-watering Asian pit stop. Bring a bottle of wine, grab your loved ones or loved one, for an affordable feast at this local’s fave.
Got a big group to be catered for? This foodie haven offers all that is authentic Chinese chow, so all your friends can slurp and gorge on some of the Coast’s best right here. Again, this place is miss pop-u-larrr! So it’s always best book ahead first.
