That whole dressing for day to night thing isn’t new.
Yoon Ahn, Dior Homme jewellery designer and one half of AMBUSH, is giving it a pretty fresh spin and a whole new meaning with her first Nike collab.
Between life in Tokyo and work in Paris, Yoon’s schedule and city life has a lightning pace—and this what drives her creativity and what she wears day to day too. This is the thinking behind her capsule collection for Nike: clothes that are fast, loud, functional and comfortable. Get dressed in the morning, and hang out until late at night, that is the vibe.
In the collection is a luxurious faux fur coat in a muted pistachio grey or black with an oversized Swoosh slashed across the back.
There’s a reversible track jacket, with fleece on one side and high-shine gold metallic foil ripstop on the other.
There’s also a Dry-Fit Stretch bodysuit, a crop-top and fleece pants with reflective piping detail.
Yoon decided to shake up the Air Max 180 too—a sentimental choice, and the first Nike shoes she bought with her own money. She's mixed them up with another Nike classic, the Air Zoom Flight The Glove.
The collab drops this Thursday 6December and will be available exclusively at Sneakerboy.
