Drastic times call for drastic measures and if that means turning craft spirits into hand sanitiser, we’re here for it.
The Sunshine Coast’s Noosa Heads Distillery also known as Fortune (inside Land & Sea’s venue) is no stranger to creativity (they’ve come up with many a quirky gin flavour after all). So, it’ll come as no surprise that this crew is now at the forefront of yet another boozy-inspired invention.
There’s no doubt germ-killing hand sanitiser is in high demand right now, and in response to our COVID-19 affected times, Noosa Heads Distillery has scaled back on their gin production to switch to sanitiser making instead, using their own distilled base alcohol.
Whilst the team have been supplying those industries who need it most—hospitals, government officials etc—for the last little while, they are now allowing the local community to jump on board and purchase. Which is great news for our almost-empty homes.
If you would like to grab some for you and your family, head into the distillery (19 Venture Drive, Noosaville) with your own bottle, while practicing physical distancing, of course and bring along $5 for every 100ml you’re chasing. Doors open at 9am.
