Stop what you’re doing and listen up, Sydney! A huuuuge wine festival is coming to Coogee and you absolutely need to get your taste buds involved.
Yes, we’re serious. For one weekend only (AKA this weekend), Wine Affairs will take over Coogee Bay Hotel for guaranteed grape times (see what we did there?) so you can drink as much delicious vino as you want, minus the judgy eyes.
From 12pm on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be able to wrap your lips around over 28 vineyards from the likes of Cumulus, Barefoot, Audrey Wilkinson, Squealing Pig, Villa Maria plus a whole lot more, all while feasting on melt-in-your-mouth meats straight from the carvery. There’ll be live jazz bands bringing all the best beachside vibes and plenty of other things happening to keep you busy, so you'll need get there nice and early to secure a good seat.
Serious wine lovers should also sign up for the De Bortoli Wine Dinner on Friday night, to enjoy an epic five-course feast. Each course is matched with their finest drops from all over the country and that sounds like an ideal Friday situation to us (and you too, duh).
If you need more convincing, you can get all the delicious deets here.
