It’s hard to believe it’s been 6 years since Amy Winehouse passed away. 2017 looks set to be a big one for all of Winehouse’s Aussie fans, with the ultimate exhibition of all things Amy headed to our shores.
If Valerie has been the soundtrack to many a night out (who are you kidding? Of course it has), then you’ll want to get yourself down to the Jewish Museum of Australia in Melbourne. A collection of everything Amy will be on display— outfits, instruments, personal items and records.
Split into four sections; you’ll get up close and personal with her life in London, her signature fashion style, learn firsthand who influenced her musically, and understand more about her faith.
Not in Melbourne? No worries. The exhibition runs until March 2018, time to plan that trip over the border guys.
What: Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait
Where: Jewish Museum of Australia, St Kilda
When: 22 October 2017 to March 2018
