Call your dentist and brace your sweet tooth. A gigantic bake sale of Willy Wonka-esque proportions is descending on Sydney and across the rest of the world in the name of bushfire relief—and you’re going to want to throw your money at everything.

Called Desserts 4 Difference, this megalodon-sized pastry pop-up's Sydney edition will be hosted at Gelato Messina HQ. It'll include treats from messiahs in the dessert world like Yves Scherrer (who recently opened Clovelly Madame & Yves), the crew from Gelato Messina, cake king Andy Bowdy (of Saga and Saga Lyte), the croissant legends at Textbook Boulangerie-Patisserie, Port Macquarie's Urban Grain Bakery, Bourke Street Bakery, Pepe Saya, and a whole heap more.

The event will feature a range of sweet and savoury feeds created especially by these top-notch pastry chefs and 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to the Australian Red Cross.

As for some of the goods you can expect to find on the day, there’ll be a honey milk panna cotta loaded with popcorn from the team at OTTO, a passionfruit and macadamia lamington from Sonoma and even a flambé Crêpes Suzette from Melbourne's Curly Whiskers (swoon).

More details on the full dessert menu are set to drop, but you can stay in the loop right here.
