It’s been a pretty strange year—and look, if you’re feeling like you need to bow out of 2020 and sail into 2021 with a bang, we think we might have just found the best way to do so.
Hendricks is back with their “unusual” Willy Wonka-esque pop-up gin bars, and this time, they have really dialled it up a notch or three, and turned an actual hot air balloon into a floating, flying gin bar.
Titled The Most Unusual Balloon Bar, it will be drifting into Sydney skies from Darling Harbour for one day only next month. On board, you’ll be treated to Hendricks G&T’s and a hamper of Hendricks-themed goodies—oh and a spectacular view over the sparkly Sydney city, of course.
Wondering how much it’ll cost you to set sail on this gin adventure? Bookings are free, and based on a first-come, first-served basis. You’ll just have to be ready to roll when bookings open on Monday next week at 9am here.
If floating while sipping gin ain’t your thing, Hendricks will also have a grounded pop-up bar in Tumbalong Park. Here you can pick up Hendricks “Tini Martinis”, which are pretty much mini gin martinis in a can. Hold onto your tinnie and swap it for a free G&T at Hendricks’ partner venues, PS40, Helm Bar, The Barbershop, Café Del Mar, Planar, Prince of York, The Swinging Cat, and Champagne Bar at The Sofitel.
