Samuel Hodge’s Solo Exhibition Opens Tonight

By Jacqui Thompson
8th Jan 2014

Sydney-based photographer Samuel Hodge's solo exhibition, 'The Imponderable Archive', opens tonight at Alaska Projects from 6pm.

A mixture of fashion, art and intensely personal works comprise Samuel's cache. From editorial shoots in Russh magazine, Oyster and Fantastic Man to Romance Was Born campaigns, Samuel has lent his raw, beautifully gritty style to the world of fashion.

Through his personal exhibitions and publications, including Sometimes I Just Need Quiet Samuel conveys a bare and engaging honesty and humour. If this sounds like your type of visual experience then head down to Alaska Projects, opening tonight and running through to the 26th of January 2014.

Samuel Hodge divides his time between Australia and Berlin and has exhibited both locally and internationally throughout Europe. This is his third solo show with Alaska Projects, following a sell-out stand at the 2013 Sydney Contemporary Art Fair.
