It’s the wine and pizza fest to gush about. Fine wine purveyors DRNKS and Surry Hills' The Dolphin present Wet Dreams, a wine tasting and pizza party on Sunday 10 June.
This one is a far cry from your Domino’s and goon pairings from uni-scrimping days (like, a lonnnggg way). The ever-reliable DRNKS has pulled together a 30-strong list of natural and low-intervention winemakers and they’ll be bringing all that goodness to The Dolphin for your quaffing pleasure. If you’re a regular customer of DRNKS' wine-delivery services, you’ll recognise the likes of Ochota Barrels, Jauma, Small Fry and Kindeli. And once you’re done sipping your way through all of them, head over to the onsite bottle shop to bag your favourite juice to take home, too.
The afternoon climaxes in a pizza party, featuring an impressive line-up of Sydney’s finest chefs on the pizza paddles. They’ve nabbed Paul Carmichael from Momofoku Seiōbo, Mitch Orr from ACME, Jovan Curie from western Sydney’s Superior Burger, and Luke Powell from the protein-haven LP’s Quality Meats. Basically, that all means you’ll be well fed (in a very big way).
