things to do gold coast

And just like that, a third of 2019 is done and dusted. Which means we are fast approaching winter and things are finally starting to cool down here on the Gold Coast. But that doesn’t mean we should stop having fun.

Instead of retreating into our homes with left-over Easter chocolates and binging on Netflix, we think May is the perfect time to get out and enjoy everything the Coast has to offer. The weather is perfect, the days are not yet too short, and there’s still plenty going on in our little corner of the world.

So, if you’re looking for a way to make this month a little more exciting, then check out our list of the 14 best events happening on the Coast this May.

To peak your fancy, an 18-year-old Kurayoshi will be involved while Executive Chef Adam Lane will serve up an indulgent six-course omakase journey. Think a cocktail on arrival followed by mouth-watering eats like Ocean Trout cured in Tottori with avocado, apple and smoked vinegar, and braised duck breast, just to name a few.
