While it’s getting chilly outside, you could be eating chillies inside at the Beerland Chilli Week.
Keen to test how much heat you can handle? Try the Russian slider roulette and go up against your besties with the spinning slider. The heat levels are going to be off the chart, especially with the Carolina Reaper, which is officially the hottest chilli in the world. You’ll need a tongue of steel to try this chilli, especially with the special dish of the festival, the Singapore Chilli Mud Crab.
If you’re up for the challenge, you can sign up for the Beerland Chilli Passport Challenge. You’ll have to prove your worth by undergoing a series of spicy tests, and if you succeed you can win a variety of amazing prizes, such as season passes to Beerland Beer Clubs, the Melbourne Cup and New Year’s Eve events.
After all that spice, you may want to cool down your mouth, and what better way to do that than by sampling the best beer Northbridge and Whitfords Brewing Co have to offer. If you’re still in the mood for something spicy, try their chilli cocktails and their Habanero IPA beer.
It’s sure to be the hottest festival around, so make sure to check it out.
