ICYMI, there's a brand new rooftop bar opening in Perth TONIGHT! That's right, Hi-Line will be opening its doors tonight to give you access to the giant space atop Crown Theatre—aka the perfect spot to watch the sunset over Perth's CBD.
But you already knew all that, right? So instead of banging on about the glorious new space, we've done the tough work to find out exactly what you need to be throwing back once you take a seat.
Here are five things you need to order at the latest and greatest Perth rooftop bar, Hi-Line.
#1 The Pimms Pavlova
Hi-Line is a bar, so it's only fitting that we start this list with a drink. The Pimms Pavlova is chock full of Pimms (duh), orange juice and passionfruit and it's basically summer in a glass (and it will get you buzzed).
#2 The Crimson Samurai
Soz, but we're still stuck on the drinks list, we'll get to the food soon. The Crimson Samurai has taken our obsession with yuzu to another level. In case you've been living under a rock, yuzu is a Japanese citrus and it's mixed with raspberry, passionfruit and Havana Club Añejo 3 Años to make this epic cocktail.
#3 Mac N Cheese Jalapeño Bites
Some might say that we need to get over our obsession with mac n cheese, but we are not friends with those people. Mac n cheese jalapeño bites will never not be good, so order a couple of serves and settle in for the night.
#4 Lollipop Wings
If you haven't tried chicken lollipop wings then you're doing life wrong I'm sorry to say. You can make it up to me by going to Hi-Line and ordering the spicy chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. BLUE CHEESE SAUCE people!
#5 Pork Belly Tacos
There's no way these tacos weren't making this list. Loaded with fried pork belly, avocado, cabbage, jalapeños and sour cream, we reckon you'll be ordering a few serves of these after you're second Crimson Samurai.
Of course, there are plenty more bites on the menu and more drinks than you can poke a stick at, so get down to Hi-Line at Crown and work your way through them.
Once you've checked that out, there's a new brewery opening around the corner next week.
