Stop me if this sounds familiar. It’s a dinner party. The host wheels out the pre-dinner drinks. They come with cheese and crackers. You haven’t eaten all day, so like the fool you are, you make a dive for the camembert and lavosh. Before you know it, you’ve had your fill, and are actually...way too full to enjoy the main meal.
It’s great, isn’t it?
For two hours, you get endless serves of their hot cheese dip. Imagine a French fondue swiped right on an Argentine provoleta, had a steamy romance, and made a melted cheese baby—because that’s what you get. A cast-iron pan of molten cheese, equal parts gooey and stringy, and just waiting to be swiped up by some warm flatbread.
It’s notoriously addictive, so thank the cheese gods that it’s bottomless.
And look, if you’re going for endless cheese, you’ll need endless wine to match. There’s a prosecco, a white and a blended red, and it’s all bottomless, baby.
And because they can, the folks from Hunter & Barrel are throwing in their famous grilled and braised meats to share. Say hello to skewered chicken with lemon myrtle, crispy pork belly, Polish-style pork kranskys, and finely cooked rump eye steaks. There’s also a chopped green salad too, so you can tell mum you ate some vegetables.
All this goodness is yours for $80. Just make sure you schedule in a solid sesh of post-cheese napping afterwards.
