PSA Cheese Lovers: This Is Your Chance To Break A Cheesy World Record

If you’re one of those people who prefers to crouch under the melting wheel of cheese with your mouth wide open rather than patiently waiting for it to smother your chips, or if you haven’t broken any other records since ‘most hot dogs eaten in under 3 minutes’ and would like to fill that empty spot in your achievement journal, then you’re in luck, because we have a grate proposition for you.

Margaret River Dairy Company is calling all cheese lovers for its attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest cheese tasting event on Sunday 25 February. All participants will be given three of their most popular cheeses for the tasting, including brie, original club cheddar, and original farmhouse, and tasting all three is mandatory, so make sure you brie-ng your empty stomachs.

The minimum number of participants required to beat the world record title is 250 so grab ALL your gouda friends, family, frenemies, and especially that weird neighbour who has a wedge of cheese tattooed on his forearm.

To participate you need to register here before the day of the tasting. The event starts at 10am sharp, and it is highly recommended that you get by at least 9am.

Aside from the satisfaction of breaking a world record for cheese tasting and gobbling up all that free cheese, you can also enjoy free entertainment, yogurt tastings, milkshakes, ice cream, and purchase picnic hampers, gifts and much more!
