When you need to soak up a moment on our ridiculous coast, get all sorts of summer vibes or relax and dream of the vacay you’re supposed to be on, The Little Bay is where it’s at.
Head on over to this coastal gem and straight away you’ll see what all the fuss is about. Perched over Watermans Bay with sweeping views of that dreamy blue sea, it’s the prime position to sit back and relax over a coffee, breakfast with a mate or lunch with a cheeky cocktail or three.
The fitout is simply stunning. Think light, breezy coastal vibes — it’s the perfect blend of West Aussie beach feels with a touch of Hamptons just to make you feel like you’ve stepped out of the real world and into a vacay for the day.
The all-day brunch menu is one of the best we’ve seen. There are modern takes on the classics like an avo smash or bacon and egg benny or for those willing to venture out from the brekky staples, we highly recommend the crispy pan-fried gnocchi with pesto, garden peas, ricotta and pumpkin.
Feeling like something a little bit more? How about creme brulee pancakes or buttermilk fried chicken on bourbon waffles. Cue the drool. Pair it all with a mimosa in hand and you’ll be planning your next visit before you’ve asked for the bill.
While we can’t get enough of the all-day brunch menu (or lunch if you’re so inclined), what we’re really up in arms about is the epic limited-edition Connoisseur foodie collab — a plant based deconstructed pavlova. Yep you heard us, the geniuses behind The Little Bay have teamed up with Connoisseur and we could not be happier. Is there anything that screams summer more than a pav? We think not.
The deconstructed vegan pavlova heroes Connoisseur’s new Mango Passionfruit Oat Cookie Plant Based ice cream. Connoisseur, you had us at mango, passionfruit and oat cookie. Ok, sure, you had us at ice cream.
The meticulously plated dessert starts off with an oaty cookie crumb sprinkle topped with the world’s most perfect scoops of the oh-so-yum ice cream and pretty little meringues.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s a silky vanilla ‘cream cheese’ made from tofu (trust us, delicious) and a tangy mango coulis with chilli syrup drizzled on top. A little mint and edible flower or two and this is one of the most attractive desserts you’ll ever lay eyes on.
Not a vegan? Do not stress friends. We guarantee this Gram-worthy dessert will satisfy every sweet tooth on the planet - flexitarian, carnivore or just a dessert lover - it’s one you’ve gotta try.
The dessert (or breakfast) is a steal at $14 and is only available until 31 December, so we beg you, get in before it's too late.
