8 Gin Cocktails Every Gin Lover Must Try Before They Die

By Urban List Writers - 19 Dec 2017

Don’t you just love this time of year—when clothes wearing is at a minimum and afternoon drinking in the sun is at a maximum?!

So with this in mind, our mates at Bombay Sapphire have put together a list of epic drink concoctions that are as thirst quenching as they are visually pleasing. Trust us, they know a thing or two about making the best quality drinks (every single bottle is made from botanicals sustainably sourced all over the world—think liquorice from China, lemons from Spain, coriander from Morocco, cubeb berries from Java...yes, seriously.)

Round up your closest pals, post a #humblebrag pic on Insta and really show the world that you’re living your best life this summer!

#1 Blood in Paradise

Hamptons

The Blood in Paradise is a local legend at Hamptons! With more ingredients than you can poke a stick at, the flavours of blood orange, ginger, lemon, and rosemary all mixing and shaking for a tasty beverage and a bloody good time.

#2 Java Juice

Sweetwater

A drink that embodies a sun lounge on a beach?! Hell yes Sweetwater, just #takemeback! The Java Juice is a fun mix of pineapple juice, gin, cubeb berry or (Java Pepper) and pinot noir. Put away the Bintangs, this one is a winner.

#3 The Golden Rain

Long Chim

There’s nothing finer than one of these Long Chim beauties on a hot day. An Asian-inspired cocktail with Jasmine tea, mandarin, grapefruit, lime, and bitters. Rain, let it rain!

#4 White Heaven

Frisk

Stop everything! The White Heaven from Frisk is a mixture of creme de cacao, milk and egg whites. Yes, it’s basically a gin milkshake! This is truly the hero we need and deserve.

#5 Bombay Allsorts

Rockpool

Our sugar addiction is in full gear at Rockpool—the ‘Bombay Allsorts’ is an alcoholic version of the lolly favourite with rosé wine, blackberries, pink liquorice syrup and lemon. It’s adult fun with a nostalgic feel.

#6 W&J Bombay

Odyssea

This one from Odyssea is literally summer in a cup. Watermelon and juniper reduction, fresh lemon juice, homemade lemon bitters, and two watermelon and juniper ice cubes that look like fresh watermelon. How could you not?! This is summer lovin’ at its finest.

#7 Suerte Pelusa

Lucky Shag

A cocktail inspired by the Spanish coastline with bold flavours like apple cider, plum bitters, lemon juice and myrtle syrup, it's the perfect pairing with the floral flavours of gin. This Lucky Shag cocktail will leave you doing the salsa into the early hours.

#8 Midday In Marrakesh

Halford Bar

The name alone makes it deserve an order, not to mention the delicious pairings of apricot brandy, Bombay Sapphire, lemon juice, and pistachio orgeat. We can only imagine what happens in Marrakesh at Midday, but if it's anything as good as this cocktail, sign us up Halford Bar!
