Spring is in full swing, and the days are getting warmer. What better time to explore al fresco dining options, seafood feasts and candlelit yoga banquets? We're also inching closer to the holiday season, so it's fitting that you should head over to a wine and beer festival or two.

For things to do in Sydney that involve food, glorious food, see below.

The Yoga Supper Club

For the health-oriented, the supper to end all suppers is taking place on a secret rooftop venue in Surry Hills. The night begins with a 75 minute Jivamukti yoga class. Afterwards, enjoy a sprawling, guilt-free vegan banquet featuring seasonal, nourishing dishes from Venus Wholefoods.

Meatballs & Brews With Young Henrys

There's probably not much that can top a homemade meatballs and passata cooking class paired with drinks from Young Henrys artisan brewery. Learn what dishes best accompany what beers but, best of all, indulge in the meatball and beer feast after the class.

Oak Barrel Wine Fair 2014

Wine and live music are the main things on offer at the Oak Barrel Wine Fair. Meet some of Australia's finest established wine providores, as well as sampling some goods from the new crowd of winemakers employing minimalist intervention techniques. Of course, origins aren't limited to Australia – also expect a medley of French, Italian and Spanish wines.

Full Moon Crab Fest At Icebergs

While a little on the pricier side at $120 ($170 with matching wines), Icebergs at Bondi's full moon crab feast is sure to be worth every penny. The four course feast consists solely of dishes that feature varieties of crab, with concoctions such as Saikou salmon with marinated spanner crab, asparagus with steamed crab and caviar, and a whole Queensland spanner crab with tomato and ragu. For dessert, there's reprieve from crustaceans however Cannoli, Ricotta And Blood orange spell out "crab".

Walsh Bay Arts Table 2014

Foodies and music lovers congregate for a waterside, al fresco dining experience at the historic Pier 2 Wharf, in collaboration with Regional ArtsNSW. Prepare yourselves for a five course degustation menu with matching wines as you listen to the tunes of South Coast singer and songwriter, Heath Cullen, while providing much needed support to the diverse arts and culture scene in regional Australia.

Thanksgiving Feast At Rupert & Ruby

Come November in the Southern Hemisphere, we're denied the pleasure of pumpkin spiced seasonal treats and the excuse to gather family and friends to eat everything in sight. Thankfully, Rupert and Ruby are here to make your Thanksgiving dreams come true, with a Thanksgiving feast starring turkey, suckling pig and pumpkin pie, all for $75.

The Wild West Beer And BBQ Fest

Craft beer connoisseurs, listen up. At the Wild West Beer and BBQ Fest, dozens of breweries will be setting up stalls and barbeques for a day of beer and grilled-meat fun. If you simply can't allocate a designated driver, check out some of the convenient public transport options available.

Wine Region Feast At The Winery

If you've ever wanted an immersive, regional gastronomic experience, this would be the event for you. Hosted at The Winery on Thursday nights, guests receive a carafe of regional wine, and a selection of food from the same locale to complement their drinks.
