Brisbane is turning things up notch this March with some pretty epic events popping up. It was tricky narrowing the list down, but we got it done. Never complain about boredom again with this month’s offering of the best things to do in Brisbane:

#1 Moonlight Cinema

As the end of summer approaches, so too does the end of the Moonlight Cinema. Fret not though, we’ve put together a handy lil’ guide of what to watch so you can save time picking a movie, and spending more time kicking back.

Where: New Farm Park
When: Until the 6th of March

#2 Bleach*Festival

While technically not in Brisbane (you can get to the GC quicker than you can get from the Northside to the Southside in traffic, so we’re counting it as Brisbane) Bleach*Festival kicks off this month with a line up of artistic world premiers and creativity you’re gonna want to make a trip to the coast for.

When: March 4th – March 20th
Where: Various sites at the Gold Coast

#3 2015 National Self Portrait Prize

Soz to disappoint but this is in fact, not a selfie portrait prize. Held once every two years, by The University of Queensland, the winner receives a $50,000 prize. Plus, submissions are invitation only. Exclusive. The National Self Portrait Prize exhibition finishes up on the 13th so get your skates on people.

#5 World Science Festival at GOMA
