So why not take the night off cooking, support your local, and enjoy some delicious eats from the comfort of your couch.

Chop Chop Chang’s

West End

Nestled in the heart of West End, this beloved pan-Asian hotspot boasts a menu that’s reminiscent of honest street food found throughout Asia. It’s hard to choose just one standout dish at Chop Chop Chang’s but we can’t resist the king snapper spring rolls packed with mustard leaf, and nam jim wan. As for dessert, the Golden Gaytime bao with homemade ice cream, chocolate, caramel, and cookie crumble has us drooling. If you're a big Golden Gaytime fan and an even bigger bao fan, we strongly suggest getting amongst this immediately.

Les Bubbles

Fortitude Valley

The once illegal casino and brothel turned fancy French-style bistro, Les Bubbles is renowned for their perfectly cooked steaks and frites. So as if you need any convincing, we recommend ordering the 250gm Scotch Fillet Steak served with a generous side of frites. But if you’ve already tried the classic steak that has made Les Bubbles so loved across Brisbane (which you definitely should have), it might be time to give their Steak Frites Baguette a try. We recommend pairing it with the peppercorn and Cognac sauce.

Nom Nom Bao

Fortitude Valley

The sister venue of Nom Nom Korean in Bakery Lane, Nom Nom Bao are whipping up cloud-like sandwiches of your dreams. The menu boasts affordable and flavoursome options like fried teriyaki chicken, pork belly with hoisin, galabi beef with kimchi, miso-cured cod, or tofu bao. And honestly, since these bad boys are so cheap, you may as well treat yourself and order up a few. We’re always about living your best life and that means bulk bao.

Drool-worthy dumplings and bao.

Little Red Dumpling

Various Locations

Little Red Dumpling has long held a special place in our hearts and we can never get enough of their little parcels of happiness. All dumplings are prepared fresh daily inhouse by hand and are made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu is lengthy with all kinds of different dumpling flavours but if you know what’s good for you, you’ll grab the Dumplings in Mr Zhong’s Secret Sauce. Trust us when we say if you haven’t already tried them, you’ll be going back for more.

MoMo Chicken And Beer

Various Locations

MoMo Chicken And Beer are slinging some of the best crispy Korean fried chicken in town. There are more than 10 different types of chicken to work your way through on the menu, from classic and boneless to sweet candy and honey chicken. But the dish you absolutely must try? Well, it’s the carbonara chicken. It’s the alternative twist on traditional carbonara that we never knew we needed, made all the better with crunchy, crispy Korean fried chicken. Just be sure to wash it down in true Korean style with a crisp, cold beer.
