The guys at Portside Wharf are celebrating World Chocolate Day (7 July) with Brisbane’s only chocolate festival. The immortal ChocWeek.
You can probably already sense where this is going. ChocWeek is an excuse to pretty much eat yourself sick. Over seven days, there’s going to be chocolate nachos and chocolate churros from Burrito Bar, chocolate Lebanese sambousek from Byblos, coconut rough slices from Cruisers Alfresco and Nutella pizza with bananas or strawberries from Gusto da Gianni. The list goes on and on.
The guys at Byblos and Mr And Mrs Jones are even serving up chocolate cocktails for the week, including a white chocolate and chilli margarita at Byblos and a chocolate coconut martini at Mr And Mrs Jones.
Typically, ChocWeek would feature live music and a line up of decadent events, but this year is a little bit different, with just the special menu items at each Portside Wharf venue. But after doing the rounds at each of the venues, the result will still be the same: lots and lots of chocolate, lots and lots of regret.
To get your chocolate coma, book in to your prefered Portside Wharf venue (some are also accepting walk ins) or find more information here.
