Hard to believe Finders Keepers debuted in Brisbane back in 2009. The event got so big that it had to move into the Brisbane Showgrounds in 2017.
Well, this weekend Finders Keepers is back with an epic, three-day AW19 market.
The organisers are promising this year will be bigger than ever, with over 200 indie art and design stalls, including a new line-up of local Brisbane talent. You can check out the 2019 stallholders here and here (we could list them all, but this article would quickly get very long, and very boring).
This year FK is also bringing back the Indigenous Program – they’re hooking up with boutique label Life Apparel Co. to promote local Indigenous artists. These guys make some pretty incredible shit, so get around that one.
Shopping 200 craft stalls gets pretty tiring, so make sure to unwind in the new Xero Recharge Lounge or sit back and enjoy the live tunes. Finders Keepers haven’t dropped the food truck or music line-up yet, but they always put on a good show.
Last but not least, don’t miss the live panel discussion with Frankie magazine. It’s on the main stage on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to midday.
If you want to plan your day ahead of time, the guys have released the 2019 site map here. Commence plotting.
