The day we've all been waiting for is here. Hellenika, famous Gold Coast Greek taverna and bar is opening in Brisbane this week!
With The Calile—Brisbane's highly anticipated new boutique hotel—having opened its doors mere weeks ago, we've been eagerly awaiting its rooftop restaurant launch. (Seriously, like vultures. This is huge news for James Street's (and Brisbane's) dining scene.)
Hellenika at The Calile will open this Friday, October 12pm, and showcase all of the famed menu items this SEQ gem is known for; a mix of mezedes and largers share plates, from grilled saganaki, and dolomades, to their signature baked lamb and wood-fired pork belly. Trust us when we say you're not going to know what's hit you.
Located on the pool deck level, with its footprint taking up more than 600 sq metres of prime alfresco dining space, Brisbane's iteration of Hellenika will include a leafy patio and cabana—perfect for us to luxuriate in those balmy summer evenings of ours.
All that's left to say is, Hellenika, you've been worth the wait.
When: Friday 12 October
Where: The Calile, James Street, Fortitude Valley
