A self-confessed nation of food lovers (did someone say BBQ?), not much gets between us and a good feed—except sometimes, the price. If we’re being honest, we’d splash out on delicious dining on the regs, if it wasn’t for that big fat bill at the end of every meal.
Giving us food fanatics a chance to check out our fave dining haunts without the heart attack-inducing credit card bill, Dimmi has teamed up with our favourite restaurants in Dimmi’s Restaurant Week this March, enticing us off our couches and getting us, quite literally, back on the dinner horse!
From the 14th-31st March, book a table at any participating restaurant, and you’ll receive a whopping 50% of your food bill! Quite literally picking up half of the cheque, enjoy a whole host of dining experiences at some of the best restaurants in Brisbane. We’ll never have to cook again!
To whet the appetite and tickle the tastebuds, here are our picks of the bunch in Brisbane:
Paddington Deli & Epicerie
A firm favourite with the Paddington locals, you’ll struggle to get through the doors of Paddington Deli & Epicerie on a weekend with the amount of people queuing for their infamous Portuguese tarts! Hanging around for lunch? The crispy-skinned snapper with pan fried gnocchi and citrus buttery sexiness is hard to pass up. Order a bottle of plonk with all that extra cash you’re now rolling in and while the arvo away.
As the name ever so subtly suggests, London Fields seeks their inspiration from the pubs of London. Heavy believers in the nose to tail philosophy, you’ll find their menu jammed full with proper British grub: their roasted bone marrow with herbs and crusty bread and the beef flank, dutch cream potato, roast leek, mustard are twisted classics—cor blimey! Pair your feast with a few local craft brews, like a proper Englishman would.

Moda’s menu is curated around fresh local produce and Chef Javier’s Spanish heritage. Prep your taste buds for the tempura monkfish with passionfruit aioli, duck liver parfait, duck breast with vanilla bean puree and traditional Spanish churros for dessert. Knock it all back with Spanish Liqueur and you’ve got the whole Spanish thing nailed.

Hop & Pickle
Not just your average pub, Hop & Pickle tantalise your taste buds and impart the perfect tipple for your thirst. Aside from the fact that any place with a Sunday Roast on the menu is an instant winner for us, there’s also deliciousness such as corn flake chicken wings, freshly popped popcorn and whipped feta featuring on this epic menu. We would offer you a recommendation for the mains, but the smarties at Hop & Pickle change their menu every week to reflect the seasonal offerings.
