Load Up On This Southside Pub’s 4-Course Parmy Degustation

Combining the hoighty ceremony of a multi-course dinner with the heart-warming comfort of a classic pub grub, Little Big House and 4 Pines Beers present the Parmy and Paddle Degustation. That’s four courses of parmy-centric dishes, each one paired with a 4 Pines brew, for just $48 a pop.

Rather than stagger the courses, the degustation is presented French style as a mighty board with a paddle of four beers. Kick things off with the Classic Chicken Parmy, no tricks or frills, and a glass of 4 Pines’ fruity Pacific Ale with hints of pineapple and passionfruit. Next, the parmy reinvented with one of Little Big House’s famous Chicken Parmy Spring Rolls (as crispy and decadent as they sound) and chase it with some heat from the Brookvale Union Ginger Beer. Moving on, no Australian degustation would be complete without a sandwich course, hence the Parmy Katsu Sando, a crispy chicken parm packaged in fluffy white bread, with a Cold Brew Coffee Kolsch to banish any lingering remnants of a hangover. Then with all the under your belt, the final snack is a perfect springboard for kickons: Chicken Parmy Wings with a malty Pale Ale that’ll usher you into top form.

The Parmy Degustation will be offered every Sunday at Little Big House for the month of April, including Easter so you can make the most of the long weekend and lean into a Sunday sesh without the threat of Monday morning to cloudy up your buzz. That said, there are just four opportunities to get around this fusion so make sure you book to avoid missing out.
