Woolloongabba’s Getting A Slick New Cinema And Dining Precinct

The Gabba’s been on a real running streak of late; what with endless new openings, property developments and more coffee shops than you can shake your wallet at, it’s the suburb de jour round the traps.

So, it’s sort of unsurprising (though no less awesome) that Woolloongabba is getting a stunning new cinema complex!

Forming part of South City Square’s huge retail and dining precinct—we’re talking a market hall, multiple al fresco dining areas, whole foods store, ‘relaxation areas and green spaces galore—Reading Entertainment is bringing eight boutique theatres along with a licenced bar and dining options to the fold.

We’ve got a fair old way to go before this massive redevelopment is ready to welcome moviegoers (it’s slated for a 2022 opening) but as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait.

So crack open a choc top to celebrate; Brisbane is on the up. She can’t stop and she won’t stop.
