You Can Now Actually Eat Breakfast At Tiffany’s!

Indulging in croissants and coffee in a room filled with diamonds—that’s as close to heaven as one can get. Ever since Audrey Hepburn’s performance as Holly Golightly we’ve been convinced that diamonds are forever—and cats for that matter. Well, fast forward to next week and you’ll find every would-be Golightly moving from the concrete pavement to the fourth floor of Tiffany’s flagship store. Yep, the iconic retailer has made breakfast at Tiffany’s a reality, and it’s even dreamier than you could ever imagine (if that’s even possible!!).

The Blue Box Cafè, located in New York City’s flagship store, is entirely Tiffany blue. The chairs have blue slip covers, and the china plates—Krakoff originals—are dipped in blue glaze. The walls, if not made of ammonite (nature’s Tiffany blue) are painted to match the interior to perfection. Every inch of the cafè resembles the iconic brand. In fact, the restaurant was designed to resemble the inside of Tiffany’s famed blue boxes. The menu isn’t simply an array of the finest pastries in NYC, although we’d have no complaints if it was. There’s avocado toast, truffled eggs and even smoked salmon bagels that are so perfect even Audrey herself would snap a pic for the ‘gram.

As expected, this is going to be a popular destination for a birthday brunch. So it’s only natural that the menu boasts a cake in the shape of a Tiffany box, paired with glossy blue icing and a white confectionary bow—all that’s left is to pop a bottle of French Champagne. When you’re done with brunch, let the birthday shopping commence! Because let’s be honest, no decent celebration is complete without diamonds.

Designed to appeal to the younger audience, the masterminds behind Tiffany’s felt the need for something monumental. The elite cafè welcomes all, and we don’t think they could have done it any better! It’s time to start saving those pay cheques, a flight to NYC is now top of our bucket list. Alongside a diamond ring—please and thank you.
