6 Of The Best Breakfast Spots In Buderim

By Sophie Wright - 30 Jan 2017

The humble town of Buderim is a bit of a quiet achiever…

She doesn’t like to brag, but she’s got some world-class stuff happening all over the shop. Sweeping views, lush rainforests, and a handful of heritage-listed spots make for one good looking mountain.

So it’s really no surprise that Buderim’s breakfast game is also strong. Sweet or savoury, big or small, healthy or not, the eateries who sit pretty in ol’ Buderim town deliver the goods. It was only after MUCH deliberation that we decided to let you in on this little secret—so think yourselves lucky, you guys.

Without further ado, here are six of Buderim’s best breakfast spots for all types of foodies. But keep them on the DL, would ya?

These guys serve up some of the best brekkie fare in all the land, sourcing the finest ingredients from local farmers to do so. The team at The Shak are super passionate about health and wellness, but no way in hell does that mean small portions! All options are wholesome, filling, and downright yummy. We’re obsessed with their Eggs Benjamin and the Dude Burger.
Where: 11/43 Burnett Street, Buderim

This award-winning eating house is a little slice of paradise atop the mountain. Scanning through the menu, Hungry Feel experiments with breakfast classics, but we’re drawn to the BBQ Kingaroy Pork Belly Banh Mi and Torte Milanese. We also can’t get enough of the local brekkie board, featuring ingredients entirely from Sunny Coast suppliers. Get in ma belleh.
Where: 29 Main Street, Buderim

We’re of the opinion that there is actually no better smell than an ooey, gooey, cheesy toastie. While not a traditional breakfast choice, the selection of freshly-made Turkish toasties at Hamptons Espresso rival any breakfast menu. Grab one to go before work, or eat in and be mesmerised by the array of goodies on display. Seriously, #cabinetgoals.
Where: 2/9 Goshawk Boulevard, Buderim

Nestled in a leafy courtyard lies Café Buderim, a hidden gem that has been serving locals for a whopping 23 years! There really is something for everyone here, with all of your favourite brekkie options available all day. Big breakfast, eggs benedict, pancakes, muesli… you name it, they do it, and they do it well. Save some room for a slice of their famous lemon baked cheesecake… or get it in a doggy bag for Ron.
Where: 3/56 Burnett Street, Buderim

At the bottom of the hill where Buderim meets Maroochydore, you’ll stumble across Café Nurcha… if you look hard enough! Tucked away inside the Coastal Wellbeing Centre, this place is a gold mine for health nuts—everything is plant-based and made with a whole lotta love. Café Nurcha’s smoothie bowls are to die for, and we’re crushin’ on the breakfast stacks. We recommend adding a side of avo to the stack, just ‘cos, you know… avo is life!
Where: 32 Wises Road, Buderim

A new-ish spot by comparison, Silverback Café is bringing its A-game to the Buderim breakfast scene. Not only do these guys dish up a mean shakshuka, we’ve also heard that their pancakes with grilled pear and Canadian bacon fly out the door before you can say “coffee”. Speaking of, don’t forget to wash these babies down with a Tim Adams cup of joe. Is there a better way to start the day? We think not.
