Mooloolaba’s Fave Restaurant Is Launching A Food Truck Next Week!

By Claire Plush - 23 Feb 2017

Dreams do come true, guys! Because as of next week, one of our fave restaurants in Mooloolaba is launching a food truck into the world. And we’re biting at the chomps to give it a try.

Good Bar, the slashie we’ve all come to know and love for its epic burgers, haute dawgs, cocktails, and trivia nights, is taking its drool-worthy food on the road. And you, my friends, are the ones who win.

Why, you ask? Well, we all know us locals end up sticking around the parts of the Coast we call home, so if you’re not in Mooloolaba often, or worse, have never ventured to Good Bar to feast on their sweet nothings, then that’s all about to change.

Cruising up and down the Coast in their sexy new and made-over food trailer (there’s a sneak peek here), Good Bar is now going to be bringing their chews to you. How good is that?!

The menu is a tight curation of old-favourites, so you’re gonna get the best of Good Bar whatever you choose. Tastebuds belonging to GB fans will be pleased to know the Old Faithful Burger—beef patty, jack cheese, pickle, onion, mustard, and special sauce on brioche—and the Yanked Pig, featuring pulled pork shoulder, slaw and chipotle mayo on brioche both make appearances. As does the Black Beef Po’Boy with pulled brisket, blackened gravy and slaw, and the original New Yorker Hawte Dawg. Salivating yet? Us too!

Kicking off their new venture first thing next week, the Good Bar food truck will be found at the Youi Office Carpark from Monday to Friday. From there, the guys are currently working on securing locations at markets and festivals across the Coast, so keep your eyes on Goodbar’s Facebook page to stay up-to-date with where you can get your #cheatday fix.

With a motto like “simple comfort food done well”, we’re pretty sure these guys were made for the street.
