Serbian Festival Sydney

ICYMI Serbian food is delicious. If you haven’t yet tried the deliciousness that is Serbian food, do your tastebuds a favour and fill your belly with everything you’ve been missing out on at the Serbian Festival this February.

For one weekend only, one of our fave European countries (and cuisines) will take over Tumbalong Park (in Darling Harbour) to celebrate all of the tasty things Serbia is famous for.

Expect live music, folkloric dancing and a whole lot of food, from Chevapi (aka minced sausages infused with spices and grilled on charcoal) and Pljeskavica (that would be meat patties made from a special mixture of ground meats) to Burek (think pastry) and Pita (which actually means pie).

If you forget your stretchy pants, just make sure you leave room for krofne—the most delicious doughnuts you will ever eat. Filled with custard, chocolate, cream, jelly or nothing at all, you’re going to want at least three of these!

The Details

Where: Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour
When: 10 - 11 February

Would you prefer to get out of Sydney? Here is everywhere you need to go in 2018.
