Whether you went too HAM in the first two months of the year and you’re feeling the pinch, or you’re just looking for some more creative ways to keep busy, free things to do are always on the menu. Luckily for you guys, the menu for March is looking delisssshhhhh.

If you’re a fan of factory sized art, trivia with a side of beer, or salsa soirees to the soundtrack of Cuban nights out—look no further. Here’s one damn epic list of all the best free things happening in Sydney this March.

Biennale Of Sydney

There’s no better pairing then the words art and free so here it is, the Biennale of Sydney. Collating artwork from over 70 artists across Sydney from museums, galleries and non-traditional exhibition spaces, you can expect a string of cultural encounters that’ll have your inner hipster practically screaming with excitement. Top tip: make a day of it and wander through the city to visit their various locations, you can thank us later.

Listen up y’all, Carrigeworks has done it again with their taste for experimental art pieces and mindboggling installations. Their new exhibition by the artist Katharine Grosse strikes that delicate balance between ‘I could make that’ and the ‘yeah, but you didn’t’ kind of modern art. With the interior covered in 8250 square metres of painted fabric you’ll be both impressed and jealous that you flunked out of Year 10 art (at least you tried). Get there, STAT.
