If swanning around a rooftop bar, martini in hand, kaftan blowing in the breeze as you discuss the difference between Monet and Mondrian is your kind of thing, listen up. What’s been coined the most exclusive (we know, you’re intrigued) members’ club in the world is looking for Aussie, Sydney to be exact, members.
The brainchild of creative Nick Jones, Soho House launched in London way back in 1995, so that likeminded creatives could meet no matter where they found themseleves in the world. Think of it like being connected to your people IRL, and not the #SoulSista connections of now.
There are now 18 locales across the globe, spanning the likes of Berlin, Barcelona, New York, and more. And whilst (at this stage) there isn’t a traditional house opening up in Sydney (yet), applications for the founding Sydney chapter of Clubs Without Houses are now open (!!). In the meantime we’ll just sit here quietly and cross our fingers that maaaaaaaaaaaaybe one day they’ll open up a bricks and mortar operation here (and that we’ll have the coin for the joining fee).
