Private pools, butlers, and a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce buggy? Sign us the hell up.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore has opened its door for around three months now (grand opening was on 1 March 2025), with almost all the i's dotted and all the t's crossed.
Quick catch-up for those not so in-the-know. Raffles Sentosa is the brand’s first-ever all-villa resort and only the second Raffles property in Singapore since 1887. It’s also probably the closest you’ll get to living out your Crazy Rich Asians fantasy, complete with personal butlers, a private pool in every villa, and enough peacocks strutting around to make a Bridgerton ball look low-key.

Tucked away on a sprawling 100,000 square metre plot of tropical jungle on Sentosa, this sanctuary is only about 15 minutes from the CBD, but it feels like it’s in another country. Guests will be given a map to navigate the property, but don’t worry about breaking a sweat. Buggy is on-site to chauffeur guests around the property, so walking is strictly optional.

Each of the 62 villas comes with its own private pool and garden terrace, with floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to views of lush greenery (and yes, the occasional flamboyant bird). The vibes are peak botanical luxe, with interiors designed by Yabu Pushelberg blending natural textures with sleek, contemporary flourishes.
The 62 villas are split into four categories within the property, with the entry-level villas differentiated by views.
- Garden/Signature/Sunset One-Bedroom Pool Villa
- Signature Two-Bedroom Pool Villa
- Presidential Villa
- Royal Villa

Raffles Sentosa’s so-called “entry-level” One-Bedroom Pool Villa is anything but basic. You’ll get your private pool, a spacious master bedroom with an indulgent bathroom (yes, there’s a bathtub), and a separate living area that easily transforms into a kids’ room if needed. There is also the legendary Raffles Butler service to elevate your stay, whether it’s planning your itinerary, arranging bespoke experiences, or handling every little detail so you don’t have to lift a finger.

The pinnacle of indulgence is the Royal Villa, taking up the space of a breezy 650sqm, with guests rolling up (literally) in a chauffeured Rolls-Royce because subtlety is overrated.

If you’re the type who travels for the food (us too), there are multiple dining concepts including Empire Grill (modern Italian), Royal China (elevated Cantonese), and Iyasaka by Hashida for intimate omakase. Oh, and don’t miss the Sentosa Sling, Raffles’ sustainable spin on the OG Singapore Sling made with upcycled watermelon skins and lemon leaves from the garden. Fancy.

The property takes wellness seriously too. The on-site spa is set inside a heritage building and features 13 treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, alongside an outdoor pool and a fully equipped fitness centre open daily from 10am to 6pm, plus all the mindfulness perks you'd expect. You’ll also get beach access, exclusive rates at Sentosa Golf Club, and the kind of five-star service that makes you forget how to do things for yourself.
For something more indulgent, guests can opt for a private dining experience under the stars in the lush hotel gardens or on a hidden stretch of Tanjong Beach, on top of the already luxe in-villa dining setup.
Let's not forget the ballrooms. The property is primed for unforgettable occasions, with the elegant Raffles Ballroom and lush Garden Room with terrace accommodating up to 400 guests for weddings, galas, or corporate affairs with flair.
