Until now, Brisbane's bar scene has been sadly low on discos. But all that is about to change with the arrival of underground disco, The Fever Club, tucked under Alfred & Constance.
The space that was formerly the Air Raid Shelter has been transformed into a house-pumping Euro style discotheque. Designed by Alexander Lotersztain — the interiors whizz kid behind Limes Bar, Depo and Alfred & Constance — The Fever Club is fashioned after the v. cool Watergate club in Berlin.
In true disco style the ceiling is decked out with a trippy LED light display, with 35,000 lights moving in time to the music. Groovy, man. Leather booth seating and DJs round out the party vibe.
The Fever Club will be open to the public for a Daytime Disco from 12 to 2pm tomorrow (complete with Red Bull and canapés), and then officially open its doors from 9pm Friday night.
This new Brisbane rave cave is also available to hire for parties and private functions.
