New Farm Interiors Stores

Style begins at home, so make sure the contents of your abode are just as fashionable as the contents of your wardrobe.

Forget battling the crowds at IKEA, we've been shopping across New Farm (it was so tough we had to stop for lunch and a cocktail) to bring you six of the best New Farm interiors shops that will have your interiors looking so good you’ll never want to go out.

Living Edge

Currently nestled away off James Street in their ‘shop before the shop’, Living Edge’s first design boutique provides a unique edit of authentic designs from across the globe for the home, work and everything in between.

Black & Spiro

Designer Anna Spiro was born into a home where beauty surrounded her, so it’s little wonder she ended up opening a business where she could help clients create homes and places which are reflective of their lives, and what it is they love. At Black & Spiro, it’s all about the mix, not the match, so take a tumble down this enchanted rabbit hole and see where you end up!

Created 10 years ago by two sisters in Melbourne, homewares label Mozi offers up a range of bright delights sure to bring life to your home.  Their latest collection, One Fine Day, was inspired by the Memphis design movement, which delivers substance, style and wit. When it comes to artwork, we can’t resist the ‘Great Writers’ print.

Hanging out in the new Jardan showroom on James Street feels more like visiting someone’s home than a retail outlet. As well as their beautiful and understated pieces of furniture which are designed and made in Australia by expert craftsman, they stock rugs, lighting and accessories made by local and international designers and artists. As an added bonus, Jardan uses sustainable timbers and is carbon neutral so you can feel good about splurging on new furniture!

St Barts

Take a tropical escape without leaving the city and head straight to St Barts on James Street. Combining unique craftsmanship with the elegance of the Caribbean Coast, St Barts does luxe bohemia to a tee and is filled with beautifully crafted goods sourced from around the world including furniture, fashion, collectibles, gifts, jewellery and accessories.

Magnolia Interiors

If you like to pamper your home more than you pamper yourself, head straight to Magnolia Interiors. With white-washed furniture, luxe linen and beautiful table settings, it’s easy to lose track of time looking at everything on offer. There’s something about the way they style their displays that make us want to take it all home and replicate it! They also have great gift ideas for new homeowners including coffee table books, candles, vases and rugs.
