Spring Fashion Essentials | Our Picks

By Ellie Schneider - 12 Aug 2014

Okay, it might technically still be winter (particularly for you Melburnians!) but as the days get longer, sunnier and generally happier, we're eager to throw off our coats and boots and finally reveal some skin (eep!). So, to help you on your merry way, we've handpicked our top fashion essentials for the season. And don't worry fellas, there's plenty in the mix for you too.

Find our Spring fashion essentials here:

We love Hamamas Original Turkish towels - $39 because they are just so versatile. More than just a towel, they are picnic blankets, baby wraps, throwovers, tablecloths, and more! What's more, they come in a range of gorgeous colours, so it'll be hard to pick just one.

Just throw this Bassike cutaway tank - $70 on and you're good to go. It's casual and stylish at the same time, which is something we're always searching for.

Ahhh, boyfriend shirts! There's nothing quite like a crisp, white cotton shirt and this First Base Classic Men's Shirt at Tuchuzy - $119 is a favourite for this spring.

Stay organised in style with Benah's large zip pouch - $139. Big enough to hold the essentials, but small enough to not weigh you down, this pouch can also be used to hold cosmetics. Nice!

Oh so pretty and simple! This Sarah & Sebastian drop ring - $90 is hand-made to order and will look good on any girl's hand.

There's something to be said about elasticised pants. Mainly that they are extremely comfortable, expand with your stomach as you eat more, and are easy to pull on (and take off). Guys, check out the Vanishing Elephant elasticated Pant - $140 for your new spring pant.

Let's get comfy! These Birkenstock Arizona black sandals - $101 are fancier than thongs and are even more comfortable. Available in a range of colours, we're sure we'll be seeing these around The Urban List HQ this spring.

Who doesn't love a well-fitting tee? The Saturdays Surf NYC logo printed tee at Incu - $60 has a regular fit and gives the illusion that you might actually surf.

These Búl Coromandel sunglasses - $150 will attract attention wherever you go. Pop them on and add some instant style.

Lazy Sundays and these shoes were made for each other.  We picture us wearing these My Chameleon Mother White canvas sneaker by Eytys - $168 to a lazy weekend brunch with friends.

Add a bit of glam to your outfit with a Molten Store Ethereal Flash Cuff - $149. Pair it with lots of shiny bracelets or let it shine on its own. Either way, you're winning.

Wear these One Teaspoon Zorrow Lovers - $110 low. Perfect for festival season or just popping down to the shops, pair these shorts with a cute tee and some statement accessories.

Guys, you can't go wrong with a great tee. The Academy Brand basic crew - $24.95 is inexpensive and will look good with pretty much anything.

These Bailey Nelson Wallace sunnies - $95 are a modern take on a classic design.

We're in love with this mustard yellow Gorman Scooter jumper - $149. Throw it on during a cool spring evening and you're set.

A striped tee is a wardrobe must have and you can never have enough options. This T by Alexander Wang stripe linen cotton tee at Green With Envy - $145 has a loose fit and pairs perfectly with jeans.

The Otto Sage top at Fat - $99 is made from a lightweight denim and will add a little bit of cool to your spring wardrobe.
