When Sephora opened its doors in Sydney last year to reveal its well-stocked shelves groaning with previously inaccessible—but clearly must-have—beauty products, we were beside ourselves.
Sadly, there was no online store meaning our lust could only be realised during trips south to ‘visit friends’ (read: make like a fan-girl freak and spend the whole weekend in Sephora). At least our credit cards were safe.
Until now. Yesterday, Sephora launched its very first online store and let’s just say, we’re only. Just. Keeping. It. Together… Sorry, we’re hyperventilating over here.
Because we’re tragic like that, and already had a list ready to go, here are the 5 things we
want need from Sephora Australia’s new online store.
Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation, $69
Do we really need to explain this? Marc Jacobs is da man, so natch, his make-up range is impeccable too. Oil-free is essential for our muggy climate, and we all love a gel for its quick drying properties. This one ticks all the boxes.
Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector, $32
Well, look at you flawless lady, where’d you get that glow? It’s probably from the ultrafine light-reflecting pearls in this Becca Cosmetics bronzer. A must for a summer sheen, all year round.
NCLA HOLOS Holographic Nail Lacquer in Lightyears Ahead, $23
The ultimate party-girl accessory, your mani will never be the same thanks to this holographic polish. A little bit futuristic, a lot fun, its shimmery in all the right places.
Kiss Pop Lipstick by Marc Jacobs, $42 in Wham
Our friend MJ gets a second Guernsey thanks to this delightful little lipstick crayon. Not only does it make us feel like young girls again (playing with crayons), but the smooth formula will leave your lips luscious and perfectly pigmented every time. Six different shades will get you through any occasion.
Alcina Brilliant Blush in Triple Peach, $44.95
Bright blush certainly has its place but if you like a natural cheek, then this Alcina number will be your handbag staple for a quick, easy swipe of colour on the go.
