By Erin Curtain
25th Jan 2018

As you may know, this weekend happens to be a long one. Now, just because our government hasn’t caught up with the times, doesn’t mean we can’t take full advantage of three days of workless bliss. Lucky for us there are a plethora of events on this weekend in Brisbane that want you to continue the celebrations, so without further ado, here are our top picks for where and how you should spend your long weekend.

Thursday 25 January

Yep, you read that right. Let the celebrations be-gin and throw away any thought of a dry January, because Covent Garden is holding their inaugural Ginuary event and, you guessed it, it is all about gin. For those of you who are not yet sold on the cool, classy, crispness in a glass that is a gin cocktail, get yourself to Covent Garden tonight for cocktails and canapés that will stretch well in to the evening. Just make sure you book tickets!
