Hanoi Hannah (and her beautiful Vietnamese cuisine) have made the move to Elsternwick, setting up shop on Glenhuntly Road, just a stones throw away from the Elsternwick Station. Ever wondered if you’d make a good bank robber? Here’s your chance to find out with Small Time Criminals’ realistic simulation of stealing diamonds, gold and coins from a corrupt investment bank. You’ll need to work out where the loot is hidden, how to access it and what’s worth the most while avoiding the security guard. You'll be briefed on the heist, given some gear and sent into the bank. There’s no right or wrong strategy, so you can keep heading back with a different game plan to improve your score!

There’s also an undercover bar, serving a massive range of ciders, wines, craft beers and cocktails to warm your insides.

Darling Cafe

Only a two-minute walk from South Yarra train station, this brunch hotspot is beautifully decorated with hints of Scandinavian and industrial décor. The menu is equally enticing, focusing on quality ingredients. With both classic and contemporary dishes, the menu is bursting with an abundance of sweet and savoury options. We went with the sticky date pancakes with butterscotch ice-cream, seasonal fruits, palm sugar caramel and malted crumble. It’s safe to say we’ll be back very soon!

The Oasis Bakery that we all know and love has expanded! A new popup kitchen has launched in Mornington, serving all day breakfast, lunch as well as delicious pastries and sweets. They’ve continued with an extensive menu and as usual, the staff of this Middle Eastern cafe are more than happy to give you advice on what to try if you're unsure (we suggest their Nutella baklava).
