Coffee, fixies, doughnuts and jaffles—sounds like Get Ya Fix knows its neighbours reeeeal good. This Northbridge cafe officially opens on Saturday but we reckon if you pop down this week, you’ll be one of the first in Perth to check it out (wink wink).
Owners Aaron and Kevin said the idea for Get Ya Fix started with their love of fixies, but was cemented when they saw how well similar cafes worked in Japan and London.
A combined bike shop (with parts, accessories and streetwear for sale) and café, not only did the boys build the space themselves (down to the concrete bench top, clothes rack and tiling!), they’ve also worked hard to support as many up and coming small Perth businesses as possible. You’ll find Five Senses coffee beans, Granola Girls breakfast cups, Blissfully Raw treats, The Juicist pressed juices, Glazed & Confused doughnuts, Pure Press almond milk and Mamjo’s cupcakes among the goods on offer.
Aaron said he had been blown away by the support of the locals already and couldn’t be happier to take up residence at the top end of William Street.
“Northbridge has been given a new lease on life over the last couple of years and we’ve seen the face changing almost daily with new amazing food places, cafes, small bars and shops. The top end of William Street is the next up and coming part of Northbridge to start changing and evolving and we wanted to get in and be a part of it all,” he said.
So what are you waiting for? Go get ya fix!
