The festive season is here! Welcome to months of delicious eating, drinking, and general merriment. Are you as excited as we are about the time of year when all diet woes go out the window and gorging becomes a professional sport? Of course you are.

To celebrate the silliest of seasons, we’ve teamed up with Adam Liaw and online restaurant reservations website Dimmi to bring you the top five spots for dining in Perth this festive season.

As if that wasn’t enough of a draw card, just by booking one of Dimmi’s restaurants, you can go in the draw to win the ultimate office Christmas party catered by Adam Liaw.

“Christmas is a great time to treat yourself.” Couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Adam. And with your blessing, let’s get treating.

#1 Adam’s Pick: The Standard

Setting a high standard (ahem..) for the dining and drinking scene in Northbridge, The Standard is a bar, garden and kitchen all rolled into one. Boasting a menu that runs the gauntlet from bar nibblies to more substantial fare, and with a outdoor garden space that's ideal for sunshine soaked beverages, this Roe Street venue is the perfect place for food and drink lovers alike and would lend itself to a solid festive looooong lunch. Just sayin.

# 2 Adam’s Pick: Incontro

Situated on the banks of the Swan River and looking across to the Perth city skyline, restaurants don’t come much swankier than Incontro in South Perth. Obviously a fan of excellent food and excellent views (and a man after our hearts), Adam tells us, ‘An Australian Christmas is always better when you can see the water. Try Incontro for a fun Christmas with family and friends but without the hassle of cleaning up!’ Well, you heard the man! Specialising in modern Mediterranean fine dining, Incontro caters for special occasions and combines elegant minimal decor and spectacular waterfront views.  Dive into the Black Angus short rib or some fresh Rottnest scallops and you’ll be in seventh heaven.

#3 Our Pick: Brika

Another awesome Perth restaurant and fast becoming one of Perth’s favourite foodie haunts, Brika is a buzzy Stirling Street mezze bar that's all about enjoying delicious Greek food and drinks in the company of your family and friends—perfect for festive entertaining! The homely but expertly-prepared eats are designed to be shared but get in quick – when you taste the crispy spanakopita, cheesy Saganaki and the melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked lamb at this exceptional Perth Greek restaurant, you won’t want to share.

#4 Our Pick: Clarkes Of North Beach

Although modest from the outside, Clarkes of North Beach has much to boast about when it comes to the food. Sitting on a quiet street, this place may feel like home, but it’s a serious eating-out experience (nothing like what you’d get at home!) Chef and owner, Stephen Clarke has won numerous culinary awards and it's no surprise—the food is crazy good and the romantic and cosy vibe of the restaurant is top notch. Our top tip: put the degustation menu on your bucket list, you won’t regret it.

#5 Our Pick: Bistro Guillaume

Remember what we said about Christmas being the time to splurge? This is a prime example of just that. Get in early to book your spot at this iconic Perth restaurant and be prepared to be blown away. Inspired by the bistro-scattered streets of Paris, Bistro Guillaume offers a modern twist on traditional French fare—think rich flavoursome french onion soup, scrumptious mussels and melt-in your mouth duck confit. Stylish, opulent and perfectly situated in the lush surrounds of Perth's Crown complex, Bistro Guillaume’s prices may relegate this to a ‘special occasion’ restaurant but we reckon Christmas is occasion enough. Our tip— save room for dessert!

To go in the draw to win the ultimate office Christmas party simply book a restaurant on dimmi.com.au or via the iPhone app between Friday 20 November and Wednesday 9 December, enter the promo code ADAM when booking, and you will go into the draw to win!
