CRAZY SEXY COOL | NORTHBRIDGE
Kick off your weekend with the cool kids from the 90s and get downward at Yoga Alchemy in Northbridge. The likes of TLC, Usher and R. Kelly will provide the beats and Yoga Alchemy’s Amanda and Phoebe will lead the Crazy Sexy Cool groove. It’s set to be a fun and empowering event, so grab some girlfriends and get your bump ’n’ grind on.

PHOTOBOMB EXHIBITION | SUBIACO
Everyone loves a good photobomb, but this event hosted by the Little Corner Gallery in Subiaco is set to be a little different. Five artists will have two hours to face off in an arty challenge set to rival your favourite episode of Art Attack as they put their mark on a photograph from Jack Lawrence. With tunes from bands Ludodowwn, Dougal’s Casino and The Weapon Sound, as well as ales from Young Henry’s, the crew here have your Friday P.M. sorted.

COPPELIA WA BALLET | PERTH
With a pilé and a jete (and some other graceful moves we’re not very good at), the ballet Coppélia kicks off this weekend at His Majesty’s Theatre. Set in Germany and following the story of an unconventional doctor and life-like doll, Coppélia is a co-production between the WA Ballet and Queensland Ballet and will stick around til 26 September.

LET’S TALK DESSERT RAW FOOD WORKSHOP | BUTLER
We have to eat our fare share of doughnuts and milkshakes for our jobs (it’s research guys!), so more often than not our bodies are calling out for some healthy goodness. Trouble is, we love dessert. Thanks to The Raw Food Girl, this ain’t no problem—she’s got the goods to teach us how to make healthy, raw desserts that are actually tasty. On the menu this weekend will be dessert pizza, lime macadamia cheesecake and choc chip cookies—all guilt free of course!

CROQUEMBOUCHE CLASS | HIGHGATE
Ok, so it might not be as healthy as the food you’ll make at the Raw Food Workshop, but the Croquembouche Class at Taste Budds Cooking Studio is sure to be delicious as well as informative. Learn from master pastry chef, Paul West, as you make one of the sugar-covered towers from scratch. If you can conquer this, you can conquer anything!

ITALIAN WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL | PERTH
Carbs and wine? Yes, please! Cap off your weekend at the Italian Wine and Food Festival hosted at The Perth Town Hall this Sunday. Grab some eats at the food market before tasting your way around 200 of Italy’s premium wines. There will also be cooking demos, wine classes and an Aperol garden. That’s weekend perfection right there!

Perth Upmarket is back again this Sunday at UWA’s Winthrop Hall. Perth’s favourite fashion bloggers, The Boyfriend Shirt, will host this high tea event which features a collection of intimate apparel from designer Aimee Cherie. With proceeds going to The Breast Cancer Foundation, Fashion Forward is the perfect way for fashionistas to unwind after a busy weekend about town.
