Send Thanks To A Veteran In Isolation With These Awesome Anzac Day Cards

Forced cancellations of Anzac Day services and marches across Australia has undoubtedly been one of the saddest moments of the COVID-19 saga.

But to help lessen the absence of such important events, Sunshine Coast start-up, Cardly, has stepped in to give Australians a way to directly honour and thank our veterans and their families by allowing us to send a card to them.

Bridging the gap, Cardly is working with ex-service organisations such as Legacy, War Widows Guild and RSL Lifecare to help send out thank you cards to our country’s heroes who are in isolation.

Here’s how it works. Hop on to Cardly’s website, and select from their range of Anzac Day cards—all designed by independent artists for this nationwide tribute—then type in your message; don’t worry, it’ll look handwritten before you’re done with it.

Lost for words? Never mind. Templates and prompts have been set up to guide messaging, so you won’t have to stare at a blank screen for too long. Cards are just $4 with all profits from card sales going to Legacy, a charity providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. The fundraising initiative will help Legacy in lieu of physical fundraising that normally takes place at this time of year.

Go check out Cardly now, and help bring a smile to the faces of those who sacrificed so much to build the nation we know and love today.
