Aiming to tackle plastic waste in our waterways in the shape of an awesome festival, Sydney Water is teaming up with a bunch of epic acts at Parramatta River this weekend and we’re soooo here for it #plasticfreejuly.

These legends have got a fab line-up of activities and performances to get you pumped about doing your bit for the environment and TBH we’re all about this initiative that enables peeps like us to tackle all the plastic pollution consuming the water and foreshores.

Sunday will see rad performances from local DJ Purple Sneakers and percussionists Junkyard Beats, who will also hold an interactive workshop using recycled instruments. Learn how to play tracks by Jayteehazard and Chaos Emerald from Haiku Hands. Yep, you’ll be simultaneously helping the environment and leaving as a pro musician (with a complimentary reusable water bottle) which is a win-win in our books. For more info, head here.
