Is it just us, or has Sydney begun to resemble the streets of Cancun? From authentic hole-in-the-wall cantinas, to modern takes on classic Mexican cuisine, the choices are never-ending! While we are definitely not complaining, the overwhelming Mexican options in Sydney have led to many disappointing meals (is there anything sadder than a bad taco or soggy corn chips?). So, because we believe everyone deserves a good burrito in their life, we've taken the guess work out of it, and tracked down the best burritos at our favourite Mexican restaurants in Sydney.

Beach Burrito Company | Bondi Beach

Just a few sandy steps from iconic Bondi Beach, you can satisfy your burrito craving at the Beach Burrito Company. Go all out and try the Mucho burrito, which is stuffed with chilli con carne, pulled beef, pibil pork, and chipotle chicken, Mexican rice, beans, cheese, smokey salsa, green onion, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and chilli salt. Wash it all down with a bucketful of icy Coronas or a $12 frozen margarita and you'll be loving life.

Cantina Mobil HQ | Darlinghurst

Ditching the roaming food truck but keeping the great Mexican street food, Cantina Mobil HQ has become a favourite for late-night partiers looking to indulge in cheap, mouth-watering, tummy-filling burritos in Sydney. Our go-to is the chipotle beef burrito, which is big and meaty but wrapped up tight, so you wont make a mess! Don't forget to ask to add the zesty chipotle mayo—you'll thank us later.

Deck Bar and Dining | Dee Why

For a burrito with a view, look no further then Deck Bar and Dining. The resort-style décor accompanied by picturesque views of Dee Why is topped off with the best burritos Sydney has to offer. Replace the classic margarita with a Velvet Vulva (yes, we're trying not to giggle, too), order either a beef, chicken, fish, or vegetarian burrito, and kick back and enjoy the beautiful Sydney coast.

Guzmen Y Gomez | Around Sydney

Guzmen Y Gomez's burrito's are cheap, fast, and delicious (the perfect combo!). Packed with a choice of seven tasty fillings and then stuffed with a classic combination of black beans, rice, jack cheese, and salsa, we're so grateful there are Guzman's popping up all over the place. For the carb-conscious, try the burrito bowl—all the Mexican goodness without the floury tortillas (score!).

Dos Senoritas | Gladesville

Dos Senoritas claim to be the only truly authentic Mexican in Sydney and their burritos really do deliver! Huge portions, served with rice and beans (and complimentary corn chips) make Dos Senoritas' burritos some of Sydney's best. The Mac Daddy Burro—which gives new meaning to the word 'supersize'—is a must try! Make sure to wear something with an adjustable waistband!

Flying Fajita Sistas | Glebe

Flying Fajita Sistas is a casual Mexican restaurant in Sydney, which is always packed with locals looking for their burrito fix. Line your stomach with some hearty burritos, order some boozy margaritas, and enjoy the fiesta!

Mex & Co | Manly

Like most of our favourite Mexican restaurants in Sydney, Mex & Co knows how to show us a good time! Fusing authentic Mexican with a laid-back vibe, one taste of these delicious burritos will be enough to convince you to burn your El Paso at-home kits. The quick service and reasonable prices are perfect for a delicious meal and drinks with some mates.
