Sydney, the dates are locked in so start clearing those calendars. A traditional lantern parade led by a moon goddess is planned for Cabramatta’s 2018 Moon Festival and that’s not all that has us getting excited for the festival that attracts more than 90,000 Sydneysiders each year.
The Moon Festival is celebrated by South-East Asian countries because it marks the day of the year when daylight and darkness are equal in length and honestly, when mooncake is involved, we’re already here for it.
The traditional event is jam-packed with authentic street food stalls, live entertainment over two stages, vibrant costumes, rides, activities and fireworks. We know you’re keen, so for more deets, head right here.
