Back in the day, The Rook was a sky-high garage-style den hailing all things quirky (in the name of cocktails) and of course, massive burger feeds.
Today, this iconic rooftop secret has transformed into a top restaurant and bar drenched in dusty pinks with a strong dedication to gin, just in time for winter. And to really celebrate The Rook’s thirsty refurb, the rooftop is launching “Hot Gin Roof”—an exclusive menu featuring tea-inspired cocktails.
You’ll also find a winter garden complete with all the hanging flower installations.
As for the Hot Gin Roof cocktails (which are all served up in vintage-style teacups and crockery), they include the likes of the “Berrylicious” loaded with Sipsmith London Dry Gin and hibiscus tea, the “Cuppa Joe” pumped with Sipsmith Sloe Gin, coffee and raspberry cream and the “Mulled Pumpkin Negroni with gin and spiced Campari.
As always, you’ll find this bad boy located on 56-58 York Street. Head into the lift and up to level 7. Check here for more details.
And here's everything to know about this upcoming Chinese-Japanese restaurant collab.
