A Japanese Street Food Festival Is Hitting Up Brisbane!

If you love sushi (um…who doesn’t?), then you need to check out the Japanese street food festival coming to Bowen Hills. One of our absolute fave Japanese restaurant—Sushi & Nori—will be transforming King Street into a hub of Japanese culture with their inaugural Matsuri Market.

Offering a range of delicious sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine, let us tell you right now, is set to be a foodie lovers dream bringing the best of Japan right to Brisbane.

Sushi & Nori is already well known in Brisbane for its delicious food and whiskeys, as well as its representation of Japanese culture. Their matsuri market will be no different, with epic food stalls and traditional Japanese attire on show. King St will be decked out in amazing Japanese decorations, and there will be both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to immerse yourself in Japanese food and culture.

Sushi & Nori will be serving up their famous sushi, as well as flamed nigiri plates, gyoza, chicken katsu and Japanese-style salad. The festivities begin at 6pm and will continue well into the night.
