Disney Karaoke Is Back And No We Can’t Let It Go

IT’S BACK GUYS, IT’S BACK. The Southside Tea Room and Death Valley Bar are revving up to take their widely popular Disney Karaoke for another spin around the track, and all signs point to this one going absolutely OFF.

If you got on board the last Disney Karaoke bash you’ll know that Death Valley sure knows how to throw a G-rated songfest, with their selection of local brews and nosh from the Red Robin Supper Truck keeping wassailers primed for the upbeat rhythms of Disney’s discography. For this super special return, DV is tweaking the schedule so the warbling frivolities will run across two sessions: a kid-friendly matinee at 5.30pm, and then an 8pm rager for the adults. Both will feature some temporary tatts by Gang of Smiths, a prize for best dresses, and very close proximity to snacks and bevvies.

The full list of songs (available on the events page) includes everything from Oscar-winning scores like ‘Colours of the Wind’ and ‘Let It Go’, old school car jams like ‘Hakuna Matata’, and some fresh hits like Moana’s ‘You’re Welcome’ so all those hours spent wailing in the shower can finally come to fruition.

Now this tasty newsbit comes with a bit of a spicy caveat because tickets for the 8pm adult session have all sold out HOWEVER there’s still some tickets for the 5.30pm kid-friendly matinee up for grabs, so I reckon if you turn up in some Osh Kosh chewing a rusk they’ll letcha play.

UPDATE: Death Valley has just added a third and final session to the Disneyfest at 8pm on Friday 23 March. Book your tickets RIGHT NOW because we predict they'll sell out very soon.
