It’s no great secret, our massive love of Brisbane’s food trucks and cold frothies, so excuse us while we lose our proverbial sh*t over another exciting FREE festival happening in Brisbane this weekend.
Yep, the crew that brought you Tuck In & Truck In are at it again, and this time, they’ve partnered with one of Brisbane’s most iconic inner-city pubs, The Shafston Hotel, and gathered the cream of Brisbane’s brewers together for a free, one-day laneway festival that’s going to blow the mind of any brew loving foodie!
On 28th February from midday to 10pm, Bites & Brews Laneway Festival will see 17 brewers descend on the laneways surrounding The Shafston Hotel in Woolloongabba to serve up more than 52 beers and ciders pulled from the tap, fresh and foamy for your sipping pleasure.
Our friends at Green Beacon Brewing Co., Newstead Brewing Co. and Fortitude Brewing, among others are the stars of this day-and-night-long beer-tathlon, so you know the beer and cider will be on point.
Add into the mix Brisbane’s best brew-friendly food trucks—The Bun Mobile, Chip Tease, Char Baby and King of the Wings—and there’s a perfect pairing for your favourite pale ale, IPA or stout!
Because they love us (we heart them too), they’ve offered an exclusive TUL prize to get your taste buds primed for the day of eating and beer-and-cider-ing to come.
The ‘Bites & Brews Tasting Tour’ is your—and your four closest chums—golden ticket to all the highlights of this great Brisbane booze and food festival. You’ll even have access to the VIP area, where you can continue the party in privacy.
Wine lovers and cocktail fans, don’t fret, there’s a special indoor cocktail courtyard to keep you watered, too.
There’ll be live music from Queensland’s best emerging acts, plus, we’re told one lucky attendee will win a year’s supply of beer. Hell, yeah!
All the details are on the Bites & Brews Facebook page, so tell your friends!
