You’ve heard of cheese. And you’ve heard of wheels. And you’ve heard of the element Fire. (Can you see where we’re going with this?).

Put 'em all together with some al dente pasta and waddaya got? You’ve got the new special from Salt Meats Cheese.

They’re calling it the Flaming Cheese Wheel (appropriate). A huge wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano, scooped out into a rough bowl shape, then filled with warm Brandy and sparked. The flames melt the Parmigiano into a gooey, boozy, stringy bowl of ridiculousness, and then the guys from Salt Meats Cheese stir through fresh cooked pasta. If you want to kick it up a notch, they also have a Truffle Wheel, which is made the same way, just with truffled pecorino.

You can get this flaming bowl of happiness at both the Gasworks and Surfers Paradise venues every Monday night. The Flaming Cheese Wheel will set you back $25 (add another $5 for the truffled variety). Either way, f*cking winning.

Flame on, guys. Flame bloody on.
